Large print
This is the South west view over Edinburgh from Calton Hill. The big building closest to the camera is St. Andrew’s House, the headquarters building of the Scottish Government.
Standing on top of Calton Hill you have a breath taking 360 degree view over Edinburgh. The day me and Marie went there the air was clear and dry even thought it had been raining in the morning and the day before. If you go to Edinburgh, be sure to “climb up” Calton Hill or Arthurs Seat (didnt have time to go Arthurs Seat but it’s 50 meters higher up I believe=better view).
In my mind I’ve been playing with the idea of printing this image large scale on canvas and then try to sell it. Thinking 150 centimeters wide or something like that. Its kind of risky though since the print itself costs 6-700 kronas and in addition to that the cost of nailing it to a frame. To make it worth while I’ll have to charge 1500 kronas which, I am sure, is above what most people are prepared to pay. But still, if I dont try I will never know, Ill let you know if I go for it.
Hope the upcoming week will be as good for you as it will be for me.
Apart from some pre booked meetings at work I have no idea what great things will happen, but thats the beauty of life isn’t it.
.
PS
1 us dollar is about 6 ,4 swedish kronas.

What a great photo. I love Edinburgh. Was there years ago when they had Wimpy Burgers.

Calton Hill, a truly love this ill have some of my 1st amazing shots from this hill and return each year for Beltane festival. back this up with the rest of Edinburgh and there is some amazing photography to take away if your eye is in.
The Beltane sound much like the Walpurgis Night that we celebrate in sweden (and Finland and Germany). We gather a big pile of branches and other tree material and then put it on fire the evening of the 30th of april. I suppose it was a wild feast once but nowadays its a peaceful event and most people are nice and sober.
It’s a gorgeous image Dan, good luck!
Thank you
